Join Kendall from Klay House Ceramics for a hand-building workshop on June 26, 2025 from 6pm - 8pm. Hosted by Coastal Mass Brewing located in Beverly, MA. Doors open 15 minutes before the workshop and close 10 minutes after we begin.
In this workshop you will learn the basics of hand building using slab and in-lay techniques to make a planter. Once we cover the building techniques let your creativity run wild and I will be there to guide you along the way.
In addition to building techniques, surface design such as stamping and creating attachments will be taught and used as needed for your individual design. We recommend you bring your own sketches or print outs of your favorite motifs, foraged plants from your yard, patterns and images to start your process!
Your pot will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the workshop. Tuition includes clay, tools, glaze, finishings to put together your planter and kiln firing. Beer will be available to purchase. Gentle words of encouragement and fun tunes will be provided.

Your paid reservation reserves your spot and includes step-by-step professional instruction to blend and pour your own candle into a souvenir Coastal Mass. Brewing tulip glass, plus one (1) drink ticket valid for any draft beer to enjoy while you wait for your candle to cure.
Since your candle will take at least an hour to cure before it's ready to take home, you're invited to enjoy all the tasting room has to offers - from beers and snacks to games and merchandise.
A portion of your class fee also fuels rescue efforts at Northeast Animal Shelter.

The Beverly Beer Mile Fall Crawl is coming up on Saturday, February 1st. Starting at 12pm, come walk The Beverly Beer Mile and get rewarded for your efforts. Start at any of the four breweries Coastal Mass Brewing, Gentile Brewing Company, Backbeat Brewing and Old Planters Brewing Co) and grab your free passport. Next, have a full pour of beer at every brewery, and get your passport stamped at each location, once you’ve visited all of the breweries you can collect your prize at your final stop on The Beer Mile.
We have a limited number of prizes, so starting/finishing earlier is best if you want to be guaranteed to win the prize!
